The role...

The Immunofluorescence Group serves as the core team for analysis and optimization of antibody performance by immunofluorescence throughout development and manufacturing at CST. We value making quality reagents, utilizing technology to solve problems, innovation to drive success, data driven decision making, and personal and team growth through continuous learning. The successful Research Associate I will contribute to pipeline testing while learning about technical execution, analytical ability, and domain knowledge.

You'll have the opportunity to...

  • Perform cell and tissue-based imaging assays with guidance as needed. 
  • Communicate results to senior IF team members via written reports. 
  • Operate high-resolution microscopes, high-throughput imaging equipment, and laboratory robotics with guidance as needed. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation in accordance with CST policy. 
  • Maintain a clean and professional workspace in alignment with 5S principles.

Who you are and what you bring to the team...

  •  Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts with biology experience
  •  Ability to work on fast paced individual projects and contribute to team goals
  •  Attention to detail
  •  Strong written and verbal communication with proficiency in Microsoft office and Google suites

Ideally, you have...

  • Bachelors degree in the life sciences or a related discipline
  • Lab experience with immunoassays
  • Familiarity with confocal microscopy, high content imaging, or histology
